Frequently Asked Questions

Tap the + button in the top-right corner of the Subscriptions tab. You can choose from popular services in the library (Popular tab) or enter a custom service manually (Manual tab). Fill in the price, billing cycle, and next payment date, then tap Save.

When adding a subscription, toggle Active Free Trial on and set the trial end date. Subvisor will show a progress bar and countdown on the subscription card. You'll receive notifications 3 days before, 1 day before, and on the day the trial ends — if you've enabled notifications in Settings.

Go to Settings → Notifications in the Subvisor app and check that permission is enabled. If it shows "Disabled", tap "Open System Settings" to enable notifications for Subvisor in iOS Settings. You can also tap "Reschedule All Notifications" to refresh all scheduled alerts.

Subvisor Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks: unlimited subscriptions (free is limited to 5), iCloud sync across all your Apple devices, CSV export & import, Face ID / Touch ID app lock, and 7 custom app icons. There are no recurring charges — you pay once and own it forever.

Go to Settings in the Subvisor app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchase. Your Pro status will be restored automatically.

This is a Pro feature. Go to Settings → Data → Export to CSV. A CSV file containing all your subscriptions will be generated and the iOS share sheet will appear, letting you save it to Files, send via email, or share anywhere. To import, tap Import from CSV and select your file.

All your data is stored locally on your device. If you're a Pro user with iCloud Sync enabled, it also syncs to your private iCloud container — only you can access it. We do not have servers that store your subscription data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Subvisor fetches exchange rates from the European Central Bank via the Frankfurter API. This requires an internet connection. Rates are cached for 24 hours, so if you're offline, previously fetched rates will still work. If you've never connected, all amounts will display in their original currencies without conversion.

Go to Settings → Data → Delete All Data. This will permanently delete all subscriptions and their history. This action cannot be undone. If you want to keep a backup first, use the CSV export feature. Alternatively, deleting the app from your device will also remove all locally stored data.

Logos are fetched from Google's Favicon API using the service's domain name. If a logo isn't showing, check that the website URL entered for the subscription is correct (e.g., "spotify.com"). Make sure you have an internet connection for the first fetch — once loaded, logos are cached on your device.

Swipe to Archive

Swipe left on any subscription card to quickly archive or delete it without opening the detail view.

Switch to the Calendar tab to see all your payment dates at a glance. Tap any day to see what's due.

Trial Conversion

When a trial expires, Subvisor asks if you subscribed. If yes, it pre-fills the Add screen with all your service details.

Tap the search icon in the top-left of the Subscriptions tab to quickly find any subscription by name.

Multi-Currency

Set your default currency in Settings → Defaults. All spending totals will be converted to that currency automatically.

On the Subscriptions tab, toggle the spending widget to Yearly to see your total annual cost at a glance.
