1. Introduction
Subvisor ("we", "our", or "us") is a subscription tracking application for iOS. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle, how we handle it, and your rights.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, or process the following on our servers:
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Your subscription data (names, prices, billing dates)
- Your financial information or payment card details
- Your location data
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
3. Data Stored on Your Device
All subscription data you enter in Subvisor is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This includes:
- Subscription names, prices, and billing cycles
- Payment dates and trial end dates
- Categories, notes, and payment methods
- Price history records
- App preferences and settings
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use iCloud Sync (Pro feature) or export a CSV file.
4. iCloud Sync (Pro Feature)
If you subscribe to Subvisor Pro and iCloud Sync is enabled, your subscription data is synced across your Apple devices through your personal iCloud account. This data is:
- Stored in your private iCloud container, not on our servers
- End-to-end encrypted by Apple
- Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
- Accessible only to you through your Apple ID
5. Exchange Rate Data
To convert subscription prices between currencies, Subvisor fetches exchange rate data from the Frankfurter API (api.frankfurter.dev), which is based on European Central Bank data. This request contains no personal information and is used solely to retrieve currency conversion rates. Rate data is cached locally on your device for up to 24 hours.
6. Service Logos
Subscription service logos are fetched from Google's Favicon API (google.com/s2/favicons) using only the domain name of the service (e.g., "netflix.com"). No personal information is sent in these requests. Logos are cached locally on your device.
7. In-App Purchases (RevenueCat)
Subvisor Pro purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat may collect:
- An anonymous device identifier to verify purchase status
- Purchase transaction data (no payment card information)

8. Push Notifications
If you grant notification permissions, Subvisor schedules local push notifications on your device for upcoming payments and trial expirations. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device — no data is sent to our servers.
9. CSV Export / Import
The CSV export feature creates a file on your device containing your subscription data. You choose where to save or share this file. We do not receive or store exported files. Importing a CSV file from a third party is done entirely on your device.
10. Children's Privacy
Subvisor is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
11. Security
Your data is protected by the security measures built into iOS, including device encryption. Subvisor Pro users can enable Face ID / Touch ID authentication to prevent unauthorized access to the app. Since we do not operate servers that store your data, there is no central database to breach.
12. Third-Party Links
Subvisor may display links to subscription service websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
